Rough-In Redlines is an iPad and iPhone app for marking up PDF drawings. It is built so your drawings and markups stay with you. This policy explains what the app handles and where it goes.
What stays on your device
- The drawings (PDFs and pictures) you open, every markup you make, photos you add, panel schedules, counts and settings are stored on your iPad or iPhone.
- The app has no account and no server. We don't receive your drawings, markups or photos.
When something leaves your device
- When you send or save it. Exports (PDFs, spreadsheets, editable copies) go only where you send them, using Apple's share sheet or Files: Mail, Messages, AirDrop, a folder you choose, and so on.
- Backup, if you turn it on. Backup copies your drawings to a folder you choose in your own storage (for example iCloud Drive or Dropbox). That storage is run by its provider under its own privacy policy; we have no access to it.
Camera and photos
The app asks for the camera or your photo library only when you choose to add a photo or open a picture. Photos stay with the drawing on your device unless you send or back it up.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
- No location data.
- We don't sell or share personal information.
Purchases
If the app offers paid features, purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details; Apple tells the app only whether a purchase is active.
Children
Rough-In Redlines is a work tool for the construction trades and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
